Enjoy one of my favourite chocolate fondue recipes. Everyone loves chocolate, most of all me! It is a great chocolate dessert recipe for parties and family gatherings.
If your children are fussy eaters and don't eat much fruit, then chocolate-dipped fruit is sure to be a winner. My son enjoyed this served at his 5th Birthday party and it went down a treat.
For this easy fondue recipe choose fresh firm fruit such as strawberries, pineapple, oranges, nectarines or peaches.
Make sure that the surface of the fruit is completely dry before dipping into melted chocolate or the moisture will spoil the chocolate. Totally immerse the fruit in the chocolate using a dipping fork or half dip it if preferred.
Eat straight away or place on baking paper and leave until completely dry.
Hungry shoppers at the German christmas markets are able to buy luscious chocolate-dipped fruits. Chocolate-dipped bananas are especially popular in our house.
